Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the use of very fine needles to facilitate changes in the body and overall well-being. These needles are inserted into specific points, affecting the flow of energy (also known as Qi) in the body.​

By discussing with a patient signs and symptoms, I am able to assess the most optimal treatment.​

I focus primarily on palpation, combined sometimes with pulse and tongue diagnosis to assist in assessing the patient.​

I practice Neoclassical Acupuncture, Five Element and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).​​

I predominantly use Neoclassical Acupuncture, which emphasises fewer needles, sometimes requiring only one needle.

​Patients often feel a slight warmth, cold or tingle following insertion, sometimes referring to other parts of the body.

Myofascial Release and Massage Therapy
Therapeutic massage complements acupuncture treatment by helping to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote deep relaxation. Myofascial Release is a deeper form of treatment, helping to cause releases in the fascia and muscles, leading to longer term changes within the body.

Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a traditional technique that uses dried mugwort (moxa) to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body.

Guasha
Gua Sha has also recently become quite popular, and involves the use of a stone, coin or other object to rub the skin.
